A quite different little critter, usually seen during the fyllia nights all over Postinen! They are quite tricky to catch, but if you manage to find a baby, you might be able to raise one into a wonderful pet! Don't worry, they don't drink blood!

While they don't seem to migrate, most populations tend to be quite hidden and have been spotted in the Wastelands as well, they hibernate during the colder times of the year, and during fyllia is when they become most common as mothers just gave birth and are preparing to hibernate with their offspring, which means they need to nearly triple their weight during this period to be able to produce milk and sustain themselves!

It is unknown how long they can live in the wild, but in captivity, they can last up to 20 years. We also have been unable to breed them in captivity.

Physical Description

• They can be any hue of red, yellow, or orange (unless they have the "shiny" mutation).
• They cannot have any kind of marking besides gradients and stripes
• Their eyes can be any light color, light scleras.
  
  
• The body length of about 2'5ft long. and wingspan of about 3'3ft long.
• There is no visible sexual dimorphism between males and females.

Behaviors

• Herbivore (surprising!)
• Can be quite loud and cause a mess, and will bite if they don't know you, your best bet is to catch one as a baby, when they are highly docile and think everything is their mom.

Maintenance

• Slightly easier than most seasonal pets thanks to how well they can adapt.

Habitat

• Dense forests and caves as far as we know.
