Chapter 11: Siaks

Siaks are very popular pets among corfolk, they have been bred for desirable traits. With wildly different temperaments around Postinen. Their thick, soft fur makes them fun to personalize and groom. They can be very different in size, with some small and round, some tall and lanky. Some bred for shows, companionship, or even livestock guarding!
Siaks haven't been found in the wild yet, but can be found all over Postinen as strays sometimes.
They can live up to 25 years, reaching full sexual maturity in their first year of life.
Physical Description
- They can have all sorts of coats and colors, as long as the head is lighter than the rest of the body.
- They all have naturally colored skin, the colors being: grey, beige, cream, or slightly pink. Some are born without any or very short coats.
- They do not have pupils or scleras, and their eyes can be any color.
- Their coat can be groomed into all sorts of shapes (as long there is enough fur for that).
- They have 1 subtype, Pocket Size, about the size of a Cannäti.
- About 5'5ft long, and weigh about 40 lbs.
- There is no visible sexual dimorphism between males and females.
Behaviors
- Omnivore.
- Usually very focused on their given tasks, and depending on the raising, can be quite social and affectionate, and normally very calm around other creatures.
- Litters vary from 2-5 pups.
Maintenance
- Highly adaptive to all sorts of life styles depending on what they were bred for.
- Requires a lot of training and socialization.
Habitat
- Prefers cold regions.
