Chapter 1: Aichmitas

Similar to Cannätis, Aichmitas are a cat-like species, adapted to warmer temperatures, slightly larger most of the time, they can be often in the western regions of Postinen., near lakes, rivers, and beaches, they are known for having the ability to puff up their bodies, and when it happens, the dots on their skins form spikes.
Different from Cannätis, Aichmitas pawprints have been seen in the Wastelands.
They can live up to 10 years in the wild, reaching full sexual maturity in their second year of life. in Captivity they can live up to 30 years.
Physical Description
- They can be any color, rarely brown.
- They can have all sorts of markings but must have freckles usually on their back and head.
- Their eyes can be any bright or light color (unless they have the "shiny" mutation). Their sclera is light and has no visible pupils.
- Aichmitas do not have fur, they have smooth skin.
- They have 1 variant not found in the wild: Munchkin, which is usually half the normal size.
- Body length of about 4'5ft long and 2'5ft in height, and weighs about 25 lbs.
- There is no visible sexual dimorphism between males and females.
Behaviors
- Piscivore and Frutirian
- Curious but wary of cors, and seems to not enjoy the presence of Cannätis.
- As pets, each Aichmitas may have a different kind of relationship with the cors around them.
- Litters vary from 2-6 kittens.
Maintenance
- If you wish to own one, you must own a pond, as having access to freshwater is essential for them
- But besides that, they usually do very well in all sorts of warm environments.
Habitat
- Warm and Humid regions, near lakes, rivers and beaches.
