Chapter 2, Kinds of Magic

Corceïs can perform many kinds of magic, but those are divided into three groups.

• TELEKINESIS •
The power to move, manipulate, and otherwise interact with objects/matter without physical means (the image above is an example.), the most common use of magic to corceïs, it is also one of the first abilities yearlings tend to learn, and usually, master it in a matter of a few years.

• SPELLS AND POTIONS •
The ability to create spells and potions, corceïs specialize in illusionary magic, and that shows through their spells and potions, which generally end with more cosmetics uses rather than, for example, offensive use.

However, they still can brew potions of other kinds, such as sleeping potions, breathing under the water, etc. Spells are not that different, however, those instead need to be written! Spells and potions are usually limited to a certain time of duration, and that, will depend on the quality of the potion or spell and the skill of the cor making it, many cors will specialize in potion and spell making for all sorts of usage.

• TELEPORTATION •
Usually, this kind of magic is only applied to objects, such as teleporting a pair of scissors sitting in the kitchen; most of the time, the object would need to be somewhat near for such to be able to do so. How far? It will depend on how skilled the cor is.

Some highly skilled cors can even perform self-teleportation, but only very few have been documented with the ability to do so.

Corceïs also have the ability to "share" their magic by touching their horns, many cors will use this ability to temporarily boost an individual's magical ability, though the longer you share your magic, the more exhausting it can be, and possibly even cause harm to your crystal, and lead to loss of magic. Shared magic perks usually last from a few minutes to hours depending on how many cors participate and for how long they share their magic.
