Mycena, still dazed from the whole ordeal and catching the surret, nods at Lilian with a lopsided smile. After a moment of silent walking, Mycena pipes up.
“Ah, I’m sorry, I completely forgot to introduce myself,” he chuckles, slightly embarrassed by forgetting something so commonplace, “I’m Mycena, nice to meet you!”
Once they make it inside the store, Mycena shakes his head to clear the hair from his eyes as he gazes around, captivated by the various creatures inside and their variety of colours. He lingers by the colourful salafesh for a moment, awestruck by their spots, before turning and quickly heading back to Lilian. He watches as she carefully places the calmed surret into an enclosure, observing the serpentine creature for a second.
“She seems a lot happier now,” he smiles, “That’s good.”
Without giving Lilian a chance to comment, he’s immediately back to observing the other pets, excitedly mumbling as he bounces from enclosure to enclosure, barely avoiding tripping over his own feet, both to the amusement and concern of Lilian. Eventually, he pauses at a cannäti enclosure, blepping at the creature and tilting his head. After a minute of this, be bounces back over to Lilian with a huge smile.
“I don’t have the money yet, but I have plans,” he says excitedly, talking so quickly he’s nearly unintelligible, “so ill be back soon! Eventually! At some point!”
With one last once over of the pet store, he bounces out, his list of plans growing as he mumbles his way down the street, catching the attention of a few curious cors.
