Spell Shopping

Freine made his way up the building’s stairs, pushing open the door with telekinesis to stride through onto dark tiled flooring.

He felt almost dull as he looked at the mannequins spread throughout the gothic interior, but that's what the shop is for, after all. Making cors look not so dull.

He looks up at the cor approaching him. She wasn't particularly tall compared to most other cors, but with Freine being an unnaturally short height, she still towered over him. She at least had the decency to stop at a reasonable distance that wouldn't have him craning his neck to look directly upwards just to speak with her.

"Welcome to the Modification Spell Shop, I am Clementine, the owner of this shop."

"Lovely to meet you, Clementine," Freine cheerfully replied, "I feel it goes without saying that I'm looking for some cosmetic spells"

Clementine raised an eyebrow, "you'd be surprised how many cors walk in here withou actually knowing if they'd like any. Do you have anything in mind?"

"If I don't come out of here looking like I just got dunked in a vat of glitter, I've failed my task"

Clementine let out an amused huff at that. "Well, you seem to know what you want. I actually stock a potion full of glittering spells, for your convenience"

"That does in fact sound convenient. Would you mind if I still took a look around? I think a feathery pair of wings would go well with the new shimmer"

"Always better for business if you look though everything. Let me take you to the wing spell section"

“Do let me know if you have any other suggestions. I'm not a fan of pathway spells, if we could avoid those”

Freine did, in fact, come out looking somewhat like he had just been artfully attacked with glitter glue, so he considered the trip a great success, even if he had gone with a far smaller pair of wings than he had originally planned for. The full-size pair had simply looked far too oversized with his short stature, and not in a cute way. But still, such affordable prices, and direct service!

Freine wasn't sure what other spells he could possibly want on himself, seeing as the halo had been a bit much, and pathways are for too noticeable in Zhido, but if he did end up wanting any, he'd most likely be making the trip out to Callasta again.
