Noctis stood in her home staring at an apple on her kitchen table. She lowered her horn to point at the apple she tried to lift up the apple but instead she just zapped herself in the face. She jolted back with a whine as she almost fell over herself. She quickly recollected herself so she stood there staring down at the apple. She tried again to lift the apple using her magic but this time the apple started to tremble. She kept trying to lift the apple and it soon did very slightly. She saw and got excited but she had lost focus. She dropped the apple, then she hit herself in the face with magic again. She winced at the pain. “At least I got it to lift up this time, oh my dearest would be delighted when I tell her about this,” She spoke gently with a delighted and excited smile on her face “I hope she's home soon so I can tell her.” She jumped up and down happily out of excitement. She then soon made herself to calm down so she could keep practicing her magic. She took a few breaths and tried again. The apple did nothing and she kept trying to make it do something. She soon caused herself to gain a headache and stumbled back. She tripped over herself and fell on the floor. She slightly started getting upset and frustrated and maybe started to cry. She just wanted to have her magic work again but after her accident her magic has been messed up in her opinion. She just lays on the floor thinking. She soon sat up and glared at the apple. Her tail thrashed as she was still glaring at the apple. “Listen here you stupid apple,” she said with a frustrated tone “you will lift up with my magic!” She soon took a deep breath and tried once again to use her magic to lift up the apple. She focused really hard to lift up the apple with her magic, but once again the apple did absolutely nothing. She grumbled and stomped on the ground multiple times out of frustration. “Why can't I do this again!!” She hissed loudly. She stared at the apple and tried one more time. This time the apple lifted up slightly more than last time it lifted up. Her frustration quickly turned to excitement. She jumped around with her tail wagging. She was extremely happy and excited that her magic was getting better in her opinion since the accident. “Oh this is just getting better and better!!!” She said with excitement in her voice. She kept jumping up and down while making excited noises. She was so excited that she had struggled to calm down after the fact so she could practice more. She started to jump around the house and knocked stuff off shelves with her tail. After a few minutes of that she soon made it back to the kitchen and looked back at the apple. She thinks and stares at the apple wondering if she should keep practicing or not. She started to weigh the pros and cons of what would happen if she would to keep practicing her magic. She then saw her cannäti, Riverwood, walking by. “oh, hello Riverwood!!” She said as she went over and picked up Riverwood “momma is getting better at magic River!”

“Mrrrooow”

“Aren't you excited Riverwood?”

“Mreooow” Riverwood said with a nod.

“Let she show you River!!” She said happily and tried once again to lift up the apple, but this time the apple just fell over. She just stared at the apple then looked at Riverwood who was staring at her with a dissatisfied look. She just sighed defeatedly and thought. She sat down on the floor and pets Riverwood. Riverwood started to freak out and flap their wings a lot to get free. Noctis put her down and Riverwood ran off. “Maybe later I can keep trying later” she said kinda defeated.
