Petshop
Manta's entrance into the lively Petshop stirred the magical air with curiosity. The jingle of bells on the door accompanied his every step, his blue form drawing fascinated glances from the shop's patrons.
His gaze swept across the enchanting scene until it settled on Lilian. She stood amidst an animated array of magical little companions, her little soft features radiant with pure joy. A Surret, its snakey form wrapped around her neck, and a little brown Gaïkel perched on her shoulder, its lizard eyes observant, were just a couple among the many fantastical creatures that adorned her figure.
Approaching Lilian, Manta greeted with a friendly nod. "Lilian, always surrounded by the most fascinating little companions. Where do you always find these beans?"
Lilian's face lit up with genuine delight as she turned toward Manta. "Manta! These little ones find me as much as I find them. It's like a dance of fate in the magical realms. You never know what wonders might decide to be your friend." She meant it jokingly, she most likely adopted them from some olders cors who couldn't care for their little pets anymore due to their age. Or maybe she found them in the forest.
Manta chuckled, the blueish hues of his coat shimmering in the enchanting light of the Petshop. "I must admit, I envy your talent for attracting pets."
Lilian gestured gracefully toward the myriad of creatures that adorned her. "Anyone can have this gift; you just have to be open to the possibility. The magical realms respond to kindred spirits." She gazed into the eyes of one of the Cannätis that were sitting close to her.
As they continued their conversation, a gentle rustle of approaching steps signaled the arrival of another cor. Clementine entered the Petshop. Her eyes, a shade deeper than her vibrant coat, sparkled with affection as she spotted her wife, Lilian.
"Lilian, my love," Clementine greeted with a soft smile, her tail swaying with graceful excitement.
Lilian turned to face Clementine, her expression lighting up even more. "Clementine! Perfect timing. Manta was just admiring our little petshop friends."
Clementine joined the pair, her gaze warm as it shifted between Lilian and Manta. "Ah, Manta, always a pleasure to have you in our little haven. Do you find these creatures enchanting?"
Manta nodded, appreciating the warmth of Clementine's presence. "Absolutely. It seems you both share an extraordinary connection with these creatures." He said, as Clementine sat down and a little Cannätis immediately jumped into her lap, the one, that was earlier sitting close to Lilian.
Clementine chuckled, her laughter harmonizing with the magical ambiance of the Petshop. "Indeed, Lilian has a unique gift. The creatures seem to be drawn to her, and I'm fortunate to share that magic."
The trio engaged in animated conversation, seamlessly intertwining tales of magical encounters and shared adventures, mainly about pets. Clementine introduced Manta to her own magical companions, including a salafesh that seemed to have a little cast on its tiny left arm.
As the conversation flowed, Manta couldn't help but appreciate the depth of connection between Lilian and Clementine. Their love for each other mirrored the enchantment that surrounded them. In the Petshop, under the soft glow of enchanted lights, the trio continued to share stories and laughter until it started to get dark. Manta had to leave
