Rosebelt Meets Lillian

Rosebolt ended up exploring several other shops, before coming across a nicely opened area with large trees that produced shade. She went to close her eyes and rest for a moment. It was a few minutes later, or perhaps more if she had dozed off, when she startled at a commotion. Opening her eyes she looked around. 

The first thing she noticed was running cors, though as she focused, she realized what had woken her up was the shouting. Confused she got up, seeing a bright green Surret was making its way towards her. What was a creature like it doing in the middle of Callasta. It could get hurt if it wasn’t careful.

A cor with light brown fur dotted with darker spots was running after the Surret.

"Someone catch them!"

Was this cor perhaps the owner. It was quite irresponsible of them to let the pet get away from them. 

Still Rosebolt quickly rushed over to grab the wiggly Surret off the ground. The creature struggled for a moment, but with a few soft words and gentle pets, the Surret started to calm down.

The pale cor rushed over, looking relieved, “Ah! Thank you so so much! This little one arrived at the shop quite recently so she's still quite confused.”

Rosebolt handed the Surret back, frowning slightly, “How could she have escaped?” Rosebolt asked, worried.

“It happens sometimes with newcomers, some can be especially tricky to keep an eye on, and take any opportunity to escape that they can. I am Lilian, I am the owner of one of the pet shops here,” Lilian gestured to a nearby shop, this one drastically different from the last one Rosebolt had been in.

All of them seemed quite different and unique here. The last one she had been in had been a pastel furniture shop. 

This shop though had a much more colorful appearance, though without looking like a circus, “We take care of all sorts of pets, like this lady... Perhaps you would like to take a look? You might find a new friend.”

Rosebolt followed Lillian inside, soon seeing a bunch of creatures, from Bloëres, a pet she had always wanted, to Alchmitas, which were super cute, then there was Salafish, which looked awesome as well, really there were a lot of pets she would love to have. Sadly though, she still didn’t have any crystal shards. 

Hopefully she could find some work to be able to get some money to buy some things, since she had just moved here.
