Cassius' Adventure to the Modification Shop

When Cassius was a teen, they had snuck off away from their parents. They weren't being inherently reckless, more just curious as they wandered past shops. Cassius had wanted to go on ahead, to scout forth without supervision. They looked back at their parent, as if checking if the cost was clear. Their parent was mindlessly looking at another shop and hadn't noticed their disappearance quite yet. Knowing that they were in the clear, they slipped off and away. They wandered down the pathway with excitement in their eyes and wonder in their spirit. They bounded forward happily only to come across the modification shop. They could see the window with its glittering treasures and boundless limitations and knew they had to enter. Cassius did a double take, making sure they weren't in any immediate trouble for having wandered off. Once they saw they still had time, they bounded up the stares and up to the entrance. They gently opened the door and ducked their head down, trying to slip in as quietly as possible. They didn't want to alarm anyone who was inside the store or have their appearance be questioned. 

Cassius' wonderment did betray their initial attempt at stealthing in as they let out an audible gasp. They stared up at all the possible modifications any cor could possibly dream of. They were still growing into their markings but not to the point they could stand proudly showing them off. That's when Clementine has spotted the little stowaway.

Clementine could see the youngster eyeing some of their wares and decided to introduce themselves. It wasn't with a reprimand but instead, eager to feed their curiosity. Every cor who stepped into their shop never left disappointed, so who were they going to deny this young one a chance to see who they'd develop into, even if it was just to peruse. Clementine quietly observed where the little spawn's eyes had wondered and saw their eyes lingered on the markings. Clementine lowered her head and softly spoke to the young Cassius. 

"While you may not have come in here on purpose, I could give you a helping paw with getting you a new look... What do you say?'

Cassius practically jumped out of their own skin until they realized it was the shopkeeper. They paced nervously, laughing under their breath in embarrassment and nodded.

Clementine entertained them and explained each item that had their interest peaked. It continued on like that until Cassius' worried parent walked in with their eyes scanning the room and quickly took a sigh of relief. They thanked Clementine, who enjoyed Cassius' company and had no issue with entertaining them. Cassius thanked them for their time and scampered off back with their parents nudging their back to head on home.
